Logan is 4 months and K is a cheerleader!

Kaelin is LOVING cheer.  We are so blessed by our church and the Upward Sports organization!  She is cheering for basketball.  Practice is on Monday and games are held on Saturdays.  Here are some pictures from Saturday, February 4th.

Logan turned 4 months old on February 4th! He is doing so well.  We are supplementing about 2 bottles of formula a day, as well as feeding with rice or oatmeal cereal once a day.  We also started baby food (carrots on Sunday the 5th).  The very first feeding he inhaled the cereal.  He definitely knows what to do when he sees a spoon! hehe

Monday was Logan's 4 months check up and shots.  He is off the charts in height - 28", and in the 96% in weight - 16 lbs., 2oz.  He has had a slight runny nose and been really sleepy while recovering from the shots. He loves to play in the exersaucer.  He is starting to grab at things.  He is also trying to hold his own bottle - though usually he ends up pushing it out of the mouth and fighting with us a bit as he 'helps'.  He wakes about once a night to eat but other than that is a good sleeper. He has the most wonderful chunky thighs!

Also on Saturday we left for Splash Lagoon (an indoor water park) - our gift from Papa Keith and Grandma Cindy for Christmas.  The whole family went - 14 people!  We stayed overnight, but I have NO pictures...hard to carry a baby and camera around a water park! Jecca did get a few that I will steal eventually.  :)

Kaelin started to feel kinda icky on Saturday afternoon, but after a rest and some dinner she was back on her feet and seemed fine Sunday.  Unfortunately after we got home Sunday she started having bad stomach cramps and a high fever.  There was nothing we could do to relieve her pain :(.  So, while we were at Logan's 4 month check up we had the dr. take a look at her too - she has a bad case of strep throat!  It caused the stomach cramps, high fever, and swollen lymph nodes.  She has had to miss her first days of school this year (tomorrow will be her 3rd day at home this week).  She also had to miss a cheer practice - she wasn't thrilled about that at all.  Thankfully after 2 days on antibiotics her fever has come down to 99.3 and the pains have almost disappeared.  Continuing to pray for healing for her and hoping she can return to school on Thursday.
