October continues on....

...and finished.  And today I found myself in the 2nd week of November!
How in the world did that happen?

Here is this month's picture journal :):

My mom found these really cool building toys at a yard sale.  Here are some pictures of what the girls can build with them.

Pumpkin carving with our friends the Cranks.
Our girls did 2 pumpkins.  They each carved one with Daddy,
and then decorated one for a competition at school.

K's finished school pumpkin - a burger!

Obviously Logan was thrilled with pumpkin carving.

This is what he did while we all worked on pumpkins - tv and played.

K won 2nd Grade Grand Prize!

H was super girl for gymnastic dress up day.

On Friday Logan had a doctor appointment for his 2 year well check.
He is 37 & 3/4" inches tall (over 100% for his age), and 31 lbs (87%).
Basically, he is a BIG boy :).
He is quickly growing out of 2T clothes.

Ok, so funny story. (not really, I am kicking myself) I do not have pictures of my kids in their halloween costumes.  This has never happened to me before! :(  I am so good with pictures usually.  AND they all wore them multiple times!!!  The girls wore them at least 3 times - for their school parties, for trick or treating with Daddy in Grove City (Logan and I stayed home while he had Hands, Foot Mouth :() and then for Trunk or Treat at our church on Halloween.   So I guess we are going to have a dress up night this week, so I can get some picture proof of their costume cuteness.

Can you keep up...

We always seem to be running! Our lives are fun, but constantly busy.  Besides the normal work, school, church, Justin's birthday, and Logan's birthday, here are some adventures from the last month:

K lost another tooth! All she wants for Christmas:
(is an ipad if you as her! NOT GOING TO happen!)

 Hailey is still loving Gymnastics!

Haircuts for everyone - but the girls decided to loose several inches each!

Picture day: here are my before school pictures.

Awana Crazy Hair Night

Old North Church Fall Fest 2013

Logan is 2, Choo Choo Choo

Oh my word, our baby boy is 2!  Seriously, he is no longer a baby!  No more binky -gasp!  (He was literally biting through them, so we threw them  in the trash.  Every once and a while he asks for one, but we just remind him they are all gone, and he says, "Otay.")  He sleeps in a big boy bed - a twin.  The transition was AWESOME! So much better than I ever expected! Really! He stays in his bed great!

He is learning words left and right!  He loves to jump "jumpin" as he says....all of the time :).  He loves to pway (play), eat (a lot!), at wear his "toat" (coat) to go outside.  He really loves to go out to the bus in the morning to say goodbye to his sisters.

His party this year was Train Themed. I was able to find a cute conductor's outfit for him, and Jecca took pics ( these are unedited - so ignore the giant scab on his head! He was jumping on Hailey's bed, and hit his head on her canopy - note under Justin's watch ;))

His party was actually held the Sunday before his birthday!  An upcoming business woman at our church made his cake and amazing cupcakes for us (cinnamon, peanut butter cup and orange cream).

He loves balloons.
You can totally make logan's day by bringing him a cheap latex helium filled ballon on a long string :).

Train Snacks: Animal Cars (animal crackers/cookies), Coal Car (tootsie rolls), and Log Car (pretzels).
We also had pizza and drinks.

Chillin' with a big boy cup.

Not a fan of the birthday song.  He cried the entire time.
*Note: At his actual birthday dinner he just kept saying," Nope, Nope Nope." the entire time.

 Trying to get a refill.

 Bouncing fun!

Creating our own train.  Pull Big Brother :)  The kids took turns lining up 2-3 of the pull carts along this rope and then dragging each other around the room.

The party was wonderful!
I think we ended up with about 60 of our local friends and family joining us at our church for the afternoon.  Thank you to all that pour love into our kids and helped us to celebrate Logan's special day!
Promise to all that attended: I will not stuff the piƱata so full the kids can't break it next time!!

On Logan's actual birthday, Justin and I were able to spend some one on one time with him while the girls were in school.  We went to Toys R Us (he "meaning Justin chose a race track :) ), lunch and the park.

We chose to go to a local Hibachi house for lunch because we like it and we know Logan likes rice.  Win all around right? WRONG! Didn't think that one through at all.  He was terrified of the fire at a table nearby and was not a fan. We made it up to him later though, with some fun at the park!

All in all, I think he had a good day :)
