It does exist! Yes, you all know we moved to Alaska (Justin in February, and the rest of us in April). You also know I have completely ignored our blog since November. In my defense, we have had a bit going on in the past 6 months! I am hoping to go back and post old pictures, so we have record of them....at some point :).
Standing in the dining room.
1/2 Bathroom off of the dining room.
If you stand in the doorway of the bathroom you can see the kitchen (dining room is directly to the left). You can either walk through the kitchen back to the living room, or through the hallway right in front of you to the living room. It's nice that the kids don't have to run through the kitchen all of the time! There is a doorway slightly to the right of the hallway that heads downstairs to the basement area. Directly to the right is the door to the laundry room/entry to the garage.
Laundry room right side.
Head upstairs and you enter: (I'm actually standing in my bedroom doorway for this picture).
Master bedroom: (I couldn't get a good picture, so I took a panoramic)
Kids' Bath
Logan's Room (yes that is him sleeping in the bed - nap time!)
The girls' Frozen bedroom (if you have Facebook you have probably already seen most of these pictures).
Coming down the basement stairs.
Playroom (4th bedroom) off of the basement living area):
Basement bathroom:
Ok Ohio/Pennsylvanians: This is our basement door. Here in Alaska, most people do not have true basements, just a crawl space for storage so we have this cute little half door. The kids thing its neat :).
Here are some outside pictures:
Our backyard from the deck.
Butterfly on the Lilacs (we have 2 huge lilacs on the side of our back deck)
New gutter drain my mom made out of her rhubarb leaves. I have a bird bath that matches.
Fresh lilacs on the windowsill.
First backyard moose, but not a great picture.
The house is all unpacked. Everything except for our crawlspace (basement storage) is organized. We are getting settled, though it took much longer to accomplish than during our last move!
Anyhow - here are pictures of our house:
If you stand in the front door, to your left is a coat closet and the stairs to go up to the second floor. To the right is the living room.
Opposite end of living room. One of the first things we did in the house was to knock out the marble around the 2 fireplaces and replace it with slate tiles. We are very happy with how it has turned out!
If you turn around at this end of the living room, you can enter our kitchen and go through to the dining room.
