No service...

For those of you that follow our blog...we have no internet! During the move a mistake was made by At&T and we won't get internet service until next week. Unfortunately we won't be home! We leave for Alaska on Saturday for Bobbi's wedding. So - our next posts will most likely be after we return home on June 22! Expect a lot of pictures and updates then! We hope everyone is having a great summer!

Amazing

Every day the girls do something to amazing. Hailey is 10 months old today and finally has teeth! She is the proud owner of her bottom two middle teeth! More amazing to me is the kind heart Kaelin shows towards her little sister.

Don't get me wrong, she doesn't always like to share her toys, and occasionally Hailey gets shoved out of the way. More and more though, Kaelin will say things like, "we better move that or Hailey will trip on it," or "Here Hailey have this toy."

Last night Kaelin almost made me cry (perhaps also brought on by sleep deprivation). We went to dinner at Chick Fil A (yum) and I looked over and said, "Kaelin, what's that?" She replied, "It's for baby Hailey Mom!". She had taken a few of her french fries, torn them up into small bite sized pieces, and put them on the table in front of Hailey because she knows Hailey likes fries (we will forget she can eat a fry whole). The only thought in my head was, How sweet that she knows what Hailey likes and provided it for her without being asked or even reminded! Kaelin is indeed an amazing two year old!

Carnival Fun

The worlds cheesiest carnival has been set up in our mall parking lot for the last week! Kaelin yells everytime we drive by, "Mom, the Ferris Wheel! Can we go?" So, on Tuesday evening after we ate, Justin and I took the girls.

Kaelin was only able to ride 3 of the 7 rides. She rode the spinning bears, a mini roller coaster and the merry go round twice. She loved it! Justin also won the girls each a stuffed animal at a dart game (there were only 4 game booths). We could have gone to build a bear for both the girls by the time he was done - you know the carnie guys, " For a few more dollars you can try for the prize a size up," Etc. The girls love them though, and it helped create a memory :). Here are some of the pictures of Kaelin on the rides.

Sleep deprived

This morning I tried to skip Hailey's morning nap for 2 reasons: 1, so she would sleep at the same time as Kaelin, and 2, so she would be awake and happy during picture time this afternoon. She did really well during the morning!

I put her in her high chair at about 10:45 for an early lunch/snack (we usually eat around 11:30) and then I was going to put her down for her nap. This is what occured:

Now, a good mom probably would have immediately rescued her, cleaned her up, and laid her down. I chose to grab the camera first...and then rescue her.

For all of you wondering, she is now in bed sound asleep! :)

Hello all! Quick update for you from the Magee world :)! Things are crazy as usual! We are preparing for a busy month ahead! Hailey has her 9 month doctor appointment next Wednesday, and then Friday we are supposed to close on our new house. Please pray for our house closing as we are waiting on an appraisal that was ordered a week and a half ago!!

The 30th we have a wedding to attend, and then the 31st we move!!! Unfortunately, I have yet to pack a single item!!! Justin is out of town today, and won't be back until Friday. Then he is gone again Sunday and won't be back until Wednesday!

We leave for Alaska on June 6th, and will be there until the 22nd for my sister's wedding! We are very excited to see my family, and hopefully some friends from high school!!

My health - I have been officially diagnosed as having rheumatoid arthritis. I am on a daily medication and anti inflammatory. I am definitely sore if I do too much (i.e. mowing the grass on Monday was NOT a good idea - still feeling it today!)

I think that is it! :) Oh - as most of you know we LOVE Chick Fil A!! We currently have two locations within 10 minutes of our home (this will change to about 20 minutes after we move :( ) Both locations do family night on Tuesdays - free kid's meals and ice cream! One location also does a monthly theme night. May 5th was Superhero night. Spiderman was there! Our nephew even wore his Superman jammies and cape. Justin took the girls and they both got balloon creatures. Hailey's was an Elmo hat and Kaelin had a bear that was holding a flower. I tried to get pictures when they got home - but they didn't turn out well. Here are the best!

Yes Kaelin is on the phone - she is telling Grandma Donna about her evening!

Hopefully I will be able to post more pictures in the next few days. We will see Jecca this afternoon and I will get the pictures she took of the girls a few weeks ago. Also, this afternoon we are going into the studio where she works so the girls can act as models! We will see how that goes :).
