Easter Pictures

On Friday, Jecca came over to take Easter Pictures!  It is a good thing our photographer is a family friend because she needed some patience with our girls that day!  Dominic on the other hand did great!

Animal Baby Shower

Today we went to the MillCreek Metroparks Farm for the Annual Animal Baby Shower.  It is a spring event where local farmers/4H groups bring baby animals for kids to see and pet.

Our group consisted of: Justin, Kaelin, Hailey, Uncle Ray, Aunti Amy, Uncle Brad, Dominic and me.  It took about an hour to go through the barns and see the animals.  The kids enjoyed the baby animals and getting to pet bunnies, lambs, donkeys etc.  Also there was one GIANT pig.

We also got to enjoy lunch out with the munchkins before naptime meltdowns started.

Cleveland Children's Museum

Totally forgot to post this at the end of February/beginning of March.

Kaelin didn't have school one Monday, so we decided to load up and check out the Cleveland Children's Museum.  While it doesn't compare to the Pittsburgh Children's Museum the girls had fun!
They especially liked the giant sand box, water play area and Kaelin liked climbing up their netted platform area.

The Museum also had a little town area with a bus, grocery store and multi-level house, and dress-up.

A slow month for pictures...

BUT NOT a slow month at home.  It seems like every day we are running somewhere, my to do list is getting longer and if I am lucky I cross of one lone item.

In case I haven't already mentioned it, Hailey is fully potty trained - and she is doing Excellent.  Hailey loves to sing - Twinkle, ABC's, Itsy Bitsy, Patty Cake....she likes to sing the same one about a hundred times before moving on :). She is also obsessed with my phone/Justin's Ipod.  She likes to play the games.  She showed us where a hexagon was the other day! Oh, and she likes to draw.  A little more concentrated at that skill than Kaelin was at this age.

Kaelin is doing well in school and loves to 'read', aka make up stories, to one of us.  She is a Daddy's girl.  She also LOVES to talk - constantly!  She loves to put on 'shows' for us - singing songs she has learned at school.  She is working hard at being a good big sister.  We have to encourage her, but she loves to receive the encouragement :).  She also loves the movie Tangled, which Daddy brought home as a surprise tonight.  She plans to grow her hair like Rapunzel :).  She loves to practice her writing - asking us to spell different family member's names.

In the past month we took a trip to Ikea and purchased a bunk bed set for the girls and moved them in together.  This required much building on Uncle Ray's, Justin's and my part....along with at least 2 weeks of organizing and arranging on my part.  Thankfully the guys pitched in and lugged things around for me when I asked.  The girls LOVE their new bed.

Justin is back to traveling about twice a month.  Ray is settled, and starts a job at Bass Clothing Store tomorrow.  I am good - doing a bit of Physical Therapy on some tight muscles near my neck fusion..and trying to stay healthy!  The medicine they have given me is helping some with the pregnancy sickness.

Anyhow - here are a few pics (measly as they are):

Hailey and Uncle Chris - a rare picture of Uncle Chris and I like the hat on H.

Hailey woke up like this one morning - totally cracked me up!!

This is the girls' new bed.  H's fort is on the the bottom, K is on the top.

We are proud to announce...

Baby #3 is due October 9!

Kaelin and Hailey are excited!

Hailey says there is a baby in Mommy's belly button and constantly likes to pat my stomach and say Hi to the baby :). Kaelin keeps reminding her she isn't a big sister YET :).

So far the votes are split in our household.  K and H want a girl baby.  Justin would like a boy - and Ray is putting $10 on a boy :).  YES - we will find out because I am OCD and MUST be able to plan :).  I have been pretty sick (as usual) and am on the Zofran again as of 2 days ago - it is helping a lot!  Other than that, all is well!

Valentine's Day - and potty training

Despite being pretty sick the last month or so, my kids still got to do some 'offbeat crafts' (as my coworkers like to say), or fun activities, for Valentine's day.  Thank you to Aunti Bobbi and Jecca for making this possible!

Jecca came over the Tuesday before Valentine's day. She was supposed to babysit, but I was way to sick to go to work, so I sat on the couch while she played with the kids. She came armed with cupcakes and frosting for her and the girls to create dessert.  They even dropped red food coloring into the cupcakes and swirled them.

The finished product.   Yes, 3 are separated....
These are the 3 that Hailey somehow licked or tasted in the decorating process :).

And though Aunti Bobbi is far away she still helped us have fun this Valentine's day. She sent the girls a package from the popcorn factory of heart shaped popcorn balls!  They came with icing 'glue' and candy to decorate each popcorn ball.  The girls LOVED spending Valentine's afternoon playing (and eating) with candy!

We ended the day by our family going to El Jalepeno - our favorite Mexican food restaurant!  There was even a live spanish singer (the girls loved it - but the adults thought it was a little loud).  AND a nice couple sitting near us gave us a coupon to use :)  LOVE THAT!

Another random addition to the Valentine's post:  Hailey is potty training.  For 2 days I got serious - taking her every hour - stickers and M&M's were the reward.  She took off- no accidents, dry at night and naptime.  She has been doing great for about a week now....EXCEPT for poop.  She refuses to go in the potty.  I am at a loss, but trying to be patient.  Guess she'll just keep wearing pull-ups until we get it figured out :).

January Picture Dump and first trip to the Dentist!

This last month has been busy (as usual).  My brother moved in with us (officially), after a trip to AK for Christmas. K is back to school and Justin and I are back to work after a long Christmas break.  This post is a picture dump from January, along with the kids first trip to the dentist.

Hailey learned very quickly how to roll her tongue one day this month and now does it all the time- totally cracks me up.

This is one of the highchairs H received from Uncle Jasey at Christmas for her babies - apparently it works for her too :).

Kaelin likes to play with my phone in the morning while I'm getting ready for work.  A few weeks ago, I had about 20 pictures of her - self portraits, these are just a few.

Justin went to the AFC Championship game with Paul Como (a buddy from High School).  He came home tired and frozen - but had a lot of fun!

I just think this is a cute picture of Hailey.

Hailey and Kaelin snuggling with their new jean quilts from Grandma Donna. The backing on each quilt is Tinkerbell and Fancy Nancy.  They have only had them for 2 weeks, but they have quickly become snuggling favorites!

First Trip to the Dentist:

Kaelin's first teeth cleaning - she did great! and she LOVED her new toothbrush, paste, and flossers.

Hailey's first teeth cleaning - she did pretty good! The doctor was awesome. Because H is only 2, she had her lay on our laps rather than sit in the big chair. She LOVED her new toothbrush, paste, and flossers.
