Halloween 2011 - Rapunzel, Cinderella and an Allstar

This weekend was full of Halloween Fun! Friday was Kaelin's Halloween party and Pumpkin Pageant at school - she had a blast!

Saturday was Grove City's Trick or Treat (they always have it on the Saturday before Halloween at 4pm).  We met up at Grandma Trezona's to Trick or Treat where Justin did as a kid :). Even Logan took part - all bundled and sleeping in his stroller.  He had no idea it was is first Trick or Treat :).

Kaelin was excited I still had her bag I made last year.

Our nephew - Buzz Lightyear!

K - negotiating trades at the first stop :)

I like this picture that Ray took.

Sunday we went to Lowellville to visit Great-Grandma Esther (or Grandma Barb's Mommy as the girls call her) and Grandma Barb and Papa Tom.  Also, this was the first time Esther has met Logan.

Then today, of course, was Halloween.  Even though it was sprinkling and chilly, the girls went Trick or Treating with Daddy, while Uncle Ray handed out candy and I took care of Logan. Kaelin was Rapunzel and Hailey was Cinderella (and the costumes will be used for several years to come - yea for dress up!) Also, tonight was the first time I put a bit of makeup on the girls for fun.  K thought that was so cool - she kept saying, "I love my makeover!".

Sticking is tongue out on me :)

The Loot - actually it was at least 2-3 times this.  I had already taken out the chips, popcorn, pretzels (for K's Lunches), and gummies, suckers, twizzlers, M & M's (for the diaper bag).
Oh, and the gum was set aside for Justin.

Hailey after only 2 pieces of candy! hahaha

We finished the night with popcorn and Scared Shrekless (Uncle's favorite movie.  Seriously, he has it memorized.)  What a wonderful weekend!

PJ Day, Pumpkin Pagent and 3 Weeks...

Today was PJ day at school and Wacky hat day!  K chose a princess ball cap :).  Justin kept telling her that it wasn't a wacky cap, but she didn't care.

Friday is the Pumpkin Pageant at school.  If the kids wanted to participate they were to completely decorate a pumpkin on their own with their own ideas.  So today, I drug out a TON of craft supplies, stickers and glue and let K go to town.  Here is her finished product:

Instead of a pumpkin H used paper.  Here is her project.
(I swear she was having fun, she just wouldn't smile for the camera!)

Today Logan is 3 weeks!  Hard to believe.  Justin says his cheeks are filling out. I don't know about that, but he is a good little guy!  I forgot that sometimes newborns just need Mommy - and I LOVE it!  He does good napping in his pack n play or bassinet during the day.  At night he is pretty good about eating and going right back to sleep.  He does spit up a few times a day (very small amounts), but it is still a learning curve for me because the girls did not spit/puke AT ALL.

Making faces at me this morning:

Logan's Announcement.

About a week and a half ago Jecca came over to take Logan's baby announcement pictures.
(I waited to post them until most people had received the birth announcement.)

Pumpkin Carving 2011

On Friday, before Mom left, we spent the evening carving pumpkins.  Well, Ray, Mom and Justin carved pumpkins.  I roasted seeds and the girls colored and put stickers on mini pumpkins.  Kaelin likes to help pull the seeds out...H does not!  After carving 5 pumpkins this weekend I have a full gallon ziploc back FULL of roasted pumpkin seeds.

H - helping to light Grandma's pumpkin with a flashlight.

On Sunday we headed to Grove City for the McCreadie's Annual BYOP (Bring Your Own Pumpkin) party.  Everyone brings a pumpkin and carves it in their driveway.  We all usually bring a dish to share, so there is some great food too!  Thank you Mandie and Justin for allowing all of us to make a mess at your house!

There were a lot of hands willing to hold Logan :).

Justin didn't want to give Logan up.

Play time with Daddy.

Funny - I think I have this same picture of Hailey playing ring around the rosie with this tree last year!

Critics :)

Mandie took this pic of the girls relaxing on the hill while Justin carves their pumpkins. hehe

The girls picked their shapes, and Justin carved. H asked for a rectangle mouth.

K's pumpkin. Fairly normal, until you see the back.  She wanted a large triangle cut out of the back.
 I have NO idea why!
