Christmas Day

Christmas Day was spent at home, just the 5 of us. We opened gifts, relaxed and napped!

Christmas 1, 2, 3 & 4

As usual we had 6 different Christmas celebrations this year.  The first one was a bit different.  We usually have a nice dinner with Amy, Brad and Dominic and exchange cousin gifts early, but this year I was way to sick! So, we opened cousin gifts via FaceTime! Welcome to the current age, right? Needless to say, no pictures of that Christmas.

Christmas # 2 was the Magee Family Christmas on Sunday, December 23. I was too sick to attend that one too, but Justin was able to take the kids.

Christmas #3 was at Papa Tom and Grandma Barb's house on Christmas Eve afternoon.  Kaelin ate a ton of shrimp and most of Papa's crab legs :)  The girls got GIANT bean bags that they love, among several other things (a furby, lego kits etc)!  Logan got a little cars chair, a race track and big cardboard blocks. 

Christmas Eve evening was Christmas #4 at Grandma Cindy's and Papa Keith's.  Logan got a huge bag of balls and a mini 4 wheeler.  Kaelin got Trouble, some books, and a knitting machine.  Hailey got a mini stable, Minnie Mouse shoes.  There were several other gifts too!

Gingerbread Houses...and annual traditions

Every year during Christmas break we do a few fun things.  We look at a lot of Christmas lights, and at least one night stop for cocoa and pie.  We decorate sugar cookies and build a gingerbread 'house'.  and we have several Christmas movie nights. Some of our usual activities happened later than usual, because ALL of us were sick over break, but we still managed to fit them all in!

Our Gingerbread 'house' turned out to be a train this year, chosen by Hailey.

After Christmas we had Auntie Amy, Uncle Brad and Dominic over to decorate cookies.

The next two of Hailey make me smile.  We had friends over one afternoon, and she got worn out.  After they left, she fell asleep sitting up on the couch, I snapped a pic, laid her down with a blanket and took another pic.  She stayed asleep the entire time!

Song and Dance

The last week of school before break was a busy one!  Kaelin and Hailey were able to visit a local dance studio with several of their friends that take classes!  Hailey enjoyed one class she visited...Kaelin loved it all!  She would go every week if she could!

After they sang, we got to share the cookies they had made earlier that week.  I had to take a picture of this gingerbread man, because it made me laugh.

Kaelin's school also put on a 1st grade Christmas program.  She had a narration speaking part in the beginning and did great! I was so proud of her!
