"Spring Break"

The week between Palm Sunday and Easter was Hailey's Spring Break.  Kaelin only got a few days of this year.  However, we did have time to build a snowman at a friend's house and dye some Easter eggs!
Got our new gloves for Tee Ball!

Bundled up for a snow day!

A full, but dirty snowman was created :)!

What am I supposed to do with this?

Oh, I got it!

Ok, maybe he is still a little confused. hehe

I finally gave up and peeled his egg for him.

He then proceeded to smash it all over.

Daddy and the girls, hard at work.

Their pretty and glittery creations.

Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday this year was really early this year, but our kiddos still dressed in bright spring outfits for the day.

After church we headed to Quaker Steak with good friends (which is fairly common due to free kids meals till 3pm on Sundays).  To our surprised we found they had the Easter Bunny visiting, a face painter and free Easter coloring pages for the kiddos!

March Madness...

Here are some old March pictures of our family fun:

Resting with Daddy

What can you do with play grilling tongs?

Last day for basketball cheerleading.

Apparently our lunch conversation was not stimulating enough for Logan.

This is a race car track that is supposed to spin.  Logan thinks it is a great seat. :)

More current news...

I have made some changes as well in February and March.  In February, I started my own Mary Kay business!  I am so excited about it!  I cannot wait to see my business grow!  This week I had the opportunity to set up a display table at our bank (for free).  I asked people for their name and number, and in exchange they received a chance to win a basket of samples and a gift certificate.  Please take a moment to visit my website: www.marykay.com/jodimagee

The other big change is that I am now working part time at our church, and LOVING it.  I am helping in our Children's Ministry program with a little of everything!  I am there on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and while I am gone Aunti Jecca comes to watch the kids.

On Sundays Justin and I are volunteering in our Children's Ministry program.  I have a rotating schedule helping at the front desk with visitors and the computers.  I also help to schedule the substitutes each week, and occasionally in our elementary large group.  Justin helps direct every 5 weeks (which means he helps anyone who needs it!), and the other 4 weeks a month he helps in the elementary large group as the host.  He had to create a character, which became the long lost 'Duck Dynasty brother'.  Last week the story teller's characters were rappers!  I had to take a picture of the three of them together!

I am sorry the blog took so long getting updated.  We are all good here! Logan is growing like a weed, wearing 24 month clothes (at 17 months old) and very active!!!!  Hailey is loving preschool - this week she had a bike day and a bowling field trip!  Kaelin is doing very well in 1st grade.  Hailey and Kaelin are very involved with Dance now, Cheerleading (ends in 2 weeks) and Awana club.  Tee-ball starts in April, and Justin is going to coach, so they are looking forward to that!

Catching up continued....onto February

The Awana program also does a Pine Derby Car Race each year.  This is the first year we participated.  Justin took the girls to his dad's one day to cut/style the cars, sand and paint them.  Kaelin chose to model her car after a mini van....hahahaha.  They also used coins as weights, and Hailey chose to set her coins up as ears on her car.

Watching the cars come down the track.

Because most of the Cubbies (ages 3-4) don't participate in the Pine Derby race, they have a Hot Wheel race just for them the following week.  :)

Other excitement in February was Valentine's Day, of course. Justin started a new tradition 2 years ago of buying the girls an outfit/dress for their gift.  So this year he bought them both a dress, and then an outfit for dance.  OH, yeah....The girls started to take dance!  Hailey is in a tap/ballet beginning combo class.  Kaelin is in a tap class.  K is working very hard to catch up and learn a routine with girls her age who have been taking dance for 2-3 years!  She is doing great.  I will take some pictures to post soon of them at dance!

Back to Valentine's Day....K cannot take in food to school, so her Valentine's were pencils.

Hailey really wanted to do these Swedish fish Valentine's...mostly so she could eat the leftovers!

Catching up...on January

I haven't blogged in over 2 months!  YIKES! and I am sorry to all the Great Grandparents!!
Here are a few pictures to tide you over :).

Our girls are very involved in the Awana program at our church.  It is a Wednesday evening program that has crafts, games and focuses on Bible memorization.  The girls love it!  Every week there is a different theme - wear polka dots, come in pjs, crazy hair etc.

One week the the theme was, "Best Injury Night".  Kaelin went ALL out. :)

Hailey only wanted fake stitches and bandaids.

Another theme night, "Dress like a friend":

Here are some shots of Logan in January.  He learned to climb on our dining room chairs (they are the tall ones, because we have a counter level table).  He now tries to climb onto the table to steal bananas or apples if I stop watching for 10 seconds.

This is what happens when you are the youngest sibling under 2 older sisters :).

This picture cracks me up!!  He was not happy with me for some reason and went to sit in his chair and cry.

The girls also started cheerleading for Upward in January.  This was Hailey's 1st season, and Kaelin's 3rd.  The league is ran by our church and we LOVE it!

Christmas #6

On the Saturday after Christmas we had our final Christmas - the Trezona family Christmas party.  This year, Grandma arranged for us to gather in the basement of her church! It worked out awesome! There was a ton of room for the kids to play, and a lot of room to sit, eat and chat! The kids all exchanged gifts from the name draw.  The adults participated in a new white elephant gift game.  It was a blast!

Logan got a few new boy toys - trucks and cars!

Hailey got princess books, a Brave barbie and the movie!

K got a Brave barbie as well, a lego kit and some art supplies that are cool!

Christmas was busy as always but tons of fun.  We did not do anything for New Year's Eve this year, but on New Year's Day spent a fun time with our friend's the Young family watching the Michigan game, eating, playing and finishing the night at Dairy Queen.  Today the kids are back to school.  I have to say I am looking forward to getting back to a regular routine in the next week, taking the Christmas decor down, and everyone getting healthy!!!!
