The crazy month of June

June has been nuts for our family!  We arrived home from Phoenix, had the girls' 1st Dance Recital, our nephew's 5th birthday, Father's Day, a week at camp, and VBS!!  Whew!  Next on tap: Finishing VBS, a Family pool party and on to July! 

Jecca was able to go to camp with us to take care of Logan and Hailey while K was an official camper, and I worked the camp.  Here are some shots she took of the kiddos that I love.  She was also able to take a full camp picture and cabin pictures of all the kids!

Dance Recital 2013

The girls had their first dance recital this year.  They were so adorable!!!  They both did so well.  I was really impressed.  Their class began in September, but our girls didn't start until February.  Also, in Kaelin's class most of the girls had take tap for 2-3 years...and this was Kaelin's first year.  I was surprised at our quickly they ended up doing!

Last Day in Phoenix

Our last day in Phoenix was spent doing many things.  We were able to visit with the jeweler that made our wedding bands, have lunch with my cousin Karen, and then visit with my cousin Crystal and her family.

The kids had a blast hanging out at Crystal and Wes' home.  They were able to just play and be kids.  Everyone played dress up but Logan :).

Everyone had a wonderful time on our vacation! The kids really enjoyed getting to see the people we have described to them, or they have spoken to on the phone.  

Surprise!

Saturday and Sunday we spent time in Surprise, Arizona with my Coolest Aunti Brenda, Uncle Dude (Randy) and Cousin Bailey.  The girls spent most of the first day coloring, while Logan ran around like a maniac and the passed out.  Hailey also liked torturing the dog, Cuppie. 

Sunday we spent a few hours at the pool - yes I got burnt.  Then after dinner, we came back to our hotel to watch Logan eat dessert and play :).

Back to Phoenix...the land of HEAT

On Wednesday, we headed back to Phoenix for the rest of our trip!  We spent the next few days visiting my Grandma Jan, and my Dad Ted and Step Mom Robin.  We hung out at Grandma's house on Wednesday afternoon/evening and just let the kids play and relax.

 The Thursday morning Grandma Jan went with us to the Wildlife World Zoo!  The girls loved the wandering peacocks and how they would spread their feathers like the peacock in Princess Sophia (a disney jr. show).

Even thought we spent 2 days with grandma having fun, I didn't get a picture of her WITH the kids...just of the kids enjoying themselves. 

Thursday night we visited a friend of Robin's, to see her miniature horses.  Then on Thursday the kids got to ride Ted and Robin's horses. They LOVED it.  Even after Hailey tried to get off the horse herself and fell to the ground...she got back on and still loved it!

 Logan loved to look at the horses and watch them. He wasn't exactly thrilled when we lifted him up onto one! However, once we started riding he calmed down, then literally leaned backed and relaxed!

That night we went to an old favorite mexican restaurant, PoPo's, where Logan discovered he LOVES guacamole!
